How the Merc-Free system works…
The Merc-Free instrument is pushed over the BOD bottle having first placed two NaOH tablets into the special bung. The reaction of the tablets with the air vapour causes an increase in pressure which is measured by the instrument and converted into mg/1 on the display.
BOD Merc-Free Sensor System 6 & 10:
The wagtech BOD Sensor System 6 and 10 are composed by a 6 or 10 place stirring group with 6 or 10 BOD sensor units, 6 or 10 alkali holders for carbon dioxide absorption , and 6 or 10 stirring
bars, offering users a complete measuring system for BOD values within four scales.
